We aim to get things right and to fix mistakes quickly and visibly.
How we handle errors
- Factual errors (a wrong spec, price, date or quote): we correct the article and add a note saying what changed and when.
- Typos and small grammar fixes that do not change the facts: corrected without a note.
- Developing stories: when new information arrives, we update the article and show the updated date.
- Retractions: if a story proves unfounded, we say so prominently.
Ask for a correction
Email [email protected] with the subject “Correction: article title” and include:
- The link to the article.
- The exact passage you believe is wrong.
- The correct information and a primary source that supports it, such as an official announcement or document.
We review correction requests as a priority.
